Features and (API) connections in TrackOnline

Which features and (API) connections are available in TrackOnline and which are still being developed? What's the difference between Avalanche and TrackOnline and what can you count on when switching? For Avalanche users who (want to) switch to TrackOnline, it's important to have a good understanding of the features and (API) connections of TrackOnline. Below we explain them to you.

In short the differences and advantages

TrackOnline is not a replacement of Avalanche, but a new digital packaging registration platform that's ready for the future. The main difference between Avalanche and TrackOnline is that TrackOnline is a cloud application, which means that with an internet connection you can always use TrackOnline. All TrackOnline customers use the same platform and therefore you can easily share (free) data, view real-time transactions and connect administrations with each other. Updating the software is no longer necessary, we handle that. In addition, the use of a mobile app is standard, which allows you to digitally sign for the receipt or return of packaging.

TrackOnline: a system that thinks for you

TrackOnline is developed in such a way that it thinks for you. By this we mean that with TrackOnline you manage your packaging instead of you mainly entering it. This way you work towards an automatic process. The processes in TrackOnline are automated as much as possible. You can automatically send reports about balances and transactions to relations from TrackOnline. It's also possible to reconcile the balance from the platform. You send a balance adjustment over a certain period to a relation. This relation can directly accept, reject or adjust this. TrackOnline even sends reminders. In addition, TrackOnline has even more automation rules.

Features in TrackOnline

As an Avalanche user you're used to certain functions that you use a lot. In principle, TrackOnline also offers these functions, only the way of working is different (see also: A new way of working). Workflows from Avalanche is an example, a similar function is called Process Rules in TrackOnline. TrackOnline has many different features, see all the features on the features page of TrackOnline. On the pricing page of TrackOnline you'll find the features per license.

Recently, several new features have been developed in TrackOnline, including rental contracts, transaction fees and various automation rules. In addition, several other functions are being developed. In April for example, the function storage costs and transaction fees will be developed. Would you like to know more about the features in TrackOnline? Schedule an appointment with us and we'll explain it to you without any obligations.

Connections in TrackOnline

In TrackOnline several standard API connections are developed that you can implement directly. There are connections available with TMS, ERP and WMS systems, such as Navision, MatchOnline (coming soon) and AFAS. Other connections can always be realised in cooperation with other software suppliers.

A new way of working

We notice that many Avalanche users are and were very satisfied with the product. A great compliment for us, but also a responsibility. Technology does not stand still and Avalanche can no longer keep up with current standards. If you want to keep up with the future and current modern technology, a switch to TrackOnline is essential.

Data sharing and real-time insight on any device is becoming increasingly important and that's exactly what TrackOnline offers. We often see that switching Avalanche clients are enthusiastic, once they experience the benefits of TrackOnline. But working with TrackOnline means learning a new way of working. Initially it takes time, but afterwards it will give you many advantages. Bexter is always willing and available to help and support you.
